How much does Cloudairy cost per seat?
Cloudairy is priced per seat — that is, per member, per month. Every paid member of a workspace occupies one seat and is charged at your plan's per-user rate.
| Plan | Per seat, billed annually | Per seat, billed monthly |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 |
| Starter | $8 per member / month | $10 per member / month |
| Business | $16 per member / month | Annual saves 20% vs monthly |
| Enterprise | Custom — contact sales | Custom |
So a five person team on Business paysundefined× $16 = $80 per month, billed annually. On Starter the same team paysundefined× $8 = $40 per month.
Seats are counted per workspace, not per account — each workspace carries its own subscription and its own seat count. You are billed only for seats that are actually occupied: adding a member mid-cycle is prorated, and removing a member frees their seat for someone else.
Do you offer a free trial?
Cloudairy does not have a time-limited free trial. There is no Starter trial or Business trial to start — instead, the Free plan is free forever, for unlimited members, with no credit card required. That is the way to try Cloudairy.
The Free plan includesundefinededitable boards, up toundefinedshapes per board, a public workspace, real-time collaboration, and a monthly allowance of AI credits. When you need more, upgrade to Starter or Business at any time from Upgrade in the left rail — the upgrade takes effect immediately.
Paid plans are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you can buy a paid plan, use it in full, and still get your money back within the firstundefineddays if it is not right for you.
How billing works
| Topic | Detail |
|---|---|
| Annual vs monthly | Annual is paid upfront forundefinedmonths and saves 20% vs monthly. Monthly is charged everyundefineddays and can be cancelled anytime. |
| Per-seat billing | Each paid member is one seat at your plan's per-user price. Adding a member mid-cycle is prorated; removing one frees the seat. |
| Upgrading | Takes effect immediately, with a prorated charge. |
| Downgrading | Takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No content is deleted — restricted features become read-only. |
| Cancelling | Your plan stays active until the end of the period. No lockout, no forced data deletion. No partial refunds except duplicate charges or billing errors. |
| Payment methods | Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and UPI. |
| Education / nonprofit | Special pricing is available — contact sales@cloudairy.com. |
Where to manage your plan
- Upgrade — select Upgrade in the left rail, or Plans & pricing, to compare and buy.
- Billing & Invoices — manage your subscription and download invoices from Workspace → Manage → Billing / Invoices (see Workspaces & Teams).
- Promo codes — have a code? Enter it in the "Have a promo code?" field on the Billing page.
Managing your subscription
Your subscription is managed per workspace under Profile → Workspaces → Manage → Billing.
- Change plan — move between Starter, Business, and Enterprise. Upgrades apply immediately (prorated); downgrades apply at the end of the current cycle.
- Change billing interval — switch between monthly and annual (annual saves 20%).
- Update seats — add or remove members; you're billed only for occupied seats.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel a paid plan at any time. Your workspace stays on its current plan until the end of the billing period, then moves to Free.
- Go to Profile → Workspaces → Manage → Billing.
- Select Cancel Subscription.
- Tell us why you're cancelling (a short reason).
- You may be offered a retention deal (for example, 1 month free). Choose Keep my plan to stay, or continue to cancel.
- Confirm the cancellation.
assets/screenshots/33-cancel-subscription.pngWhat happens after you cancel:
- Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period — no immediate lockout.
- After that, the workspace moves to Free; paid features become read-only but no content is deleted.
- No partial refunds are given for unused time (except duplicate charges or billing errors).
Tip: Changed your mind? You can Reactivate your plan at any time from the Billing page to restore paid features.
Upgrade troubleshooting
If you upgraded but the new plan isn't showing, work through these checks.
- Refresh Cloudairy first. Upgrades apply immediately, but an already-open tab can keep showing your old plan. Reload the page, then open Profile → Workspaces → Manage → Billing to see the current plan.
- Confirm the payment succeeded. Open your invoice history under Billing. A paid invoice for the new plan means the upgrade went through and only the display was stale. A failed payment means the plan did not change.
- Check you upgraded the right workspace. Plans are per workspace. If you belong to more than one, switch to the workspace you upgraded from the workspace menu at the top left, then re-check Billing.
- Update a declined card. A declined or expired card is the most common reason an upgrade doesn't apply. Update your payment method under Billing, then choose Change plan again.
- Interval versus tier. Moving between monthly and annual billing is a separate action from changing tier, under Change plan. If the tier is right but the interval isn't, adjust it there.
If the plan still hasn't updated after refreshing and confirming a successful payment, contact support with your workspace name and the plan you expected, and the team will correct it.
Note: AI credits reset each billing period and do not roll over. See Cloudairy AI for how credits are consumed per request.
